We believe in one God the creator of heaven and earth who exists in 3 persons.  God the Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit

We believe that God is holy, loving, merciful, and full of grace.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son and the Savior of all mankind.

We believe Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man. That he was born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, dead and buried and that He rose from the grave on the third day, that He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for us personally.

We believe salvation is a Gift from God through faith and not something that can be earned.

We believe the Holy Spirit is alive and working in the lives of believers today just as He was in the early days of the church.

We believe that Jesus will come again to rule and reign on this earth and to judge the living and the dead.

We believe God is no respecter of persons and in Him and Him alone there is no discrimination based on external appearances, abilities, sexual orientations, or other social or economic circumstances and that He welcomes each of His children into His presence by the shed blood of Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the life ever after and that by accepting Christ as Savior and Lord we will attain an eternal inheritance with Him in Heaven.

We believe the bible is the Word of God and is infallible truth in it’s original form and through prayerful study of the scriptures one receives divine revelation of God’s will in our lives day by day through the power of the Holy Spirit.  We believe that the Word of God is the final authority in all matters of The Church and in our personal lives.

We believe that everything the church does must serve to edify or build up the body of Christ on earth and glorify our Father in Heaven.

We believe that God is a God of Love as well as Truth and that he is not a God who sits in heaven waiting for us to mess up but rather is our Heavenly Father who loves and welcomes us into His presence and wants nothing more than for us to Love Him in return.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to love the world.

Mathew 23: 37-40

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul and love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

Galatians 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

“We must know the Lord of the book as well as the book of the Lord.” Unknown

Foundational Scripture for Rock ChurchColossians 1:11-22    We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father.  He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to His people, who live in the light.  For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So He is first in everything. For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through Him God reconciled everything to Himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ's blood on the cross.

This includes you who were once far away from God. You were His enemies, separated from Him by your evil thoughts and actions.  Yet now He has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.
